S02 Episode 21: From Blogger to Freelance Journalist (with Fiona Barrows)

Wooop, it’s the season finale of Season TWO! It’ll be back soon friends, but I seriously need a huge break. Hope you don’t mind and remember there are a whole heap of episodes in the back-catalog you can listen to at ANY time and for free!

In this episode, the wonderful Fiona Barrows kindly interviewed me about my journey, how the past year has been quiet bonkers and I answer some questions people asked Fiona to ask me.

We chat about having a scarcity mindset, being jealous, the trickiness of being a podcast host and why I wrote my course about getting your first byline!

S02 Episode 20: Chatting Motherhood and Blogging with Rosie Chappel

Happy Monday! This week I chat with Rosie Chappel all about her beautiful lifestyle blog Cider with Rosie.

We talk about content planning, and Rosie shares some of her simple tips and why we think it’s harder to ‘make it’ in blogging nowadays.

And Rosie shares some really vulnerable feelings of how maternity leave was a stumbling block, as well as why Instagram Stories became a lifeline.

If you want to hear that you can do achieve amazing things without doing what everyone else does, this one’s for you.

S02 Episode 17: Becoming a Full-Time Blogger with The Anna Edit

S02 Episode 17: Becoming a Full-Time Blogger with The Anna Edit

I know I have a LOT of fangirl moments you guys, but this is a big one. Because I had a chit-chat with one of the first bloggers I ever followed: Anna Newton of The Anna Edit.

I’ve been following Anna since way back when she was blogging and vlogging under her old name Vivianna Does Makeup. She’s a YouTuber, podcaster, blogger and an all-around awesome human.

We chatted about how she managed her side-hustle with a full-time job when she knew it was the right time to quit and why she’s taking things back to basics with her vlog.

If you want a giant boost of inspiration, this is the episode for you.

S02 Episode 16: How to Stay Sane Online with Sas Petherick

S02 Episode 16: How to Stay Sane Online with Sas Petherick

It’s a bit of a different one today as Sas inadvertently gives me an hour of therapy!

If you don’t know Sas, she is one of the most awesome humans around. I discovered her through Sara Tasker’s podcast, Hashtag Authentic and quickly became enamored with her dulcet Kiwi tones and awesome podcast Courage and Spice.

She’s a self-doubt expert, coach and mentor for women who want to transcend their self-doubt and cultivate self-belief instead. I can’t emphasise enough how incredibly empowering Sas is and tell you gently that you NEED her in your life.

I went on one of Sas’ retreats Write Yourself Home and it was a real turning point for me in my self-doubt journey. So, in this episode we discuss something that I’m more than a little preoccupied with – feedback. Good, bad……we are all bombarded with it and especially so when you’ve chosen a life and career online.

If you need to hear an episode that will make you feel everything’s okay, this one’s for you. In fact, whoever you are and whatever you need – this one’s for you!
