Alternative London: Posh Fish & Chips

Introducing you to yet more post series.....this one is all London Eating! We will be introducing you to the gems that other people miss, that maybe aren't in Time Out and people don't already know about. Those treats that aren't already on everyones 'must visit' lists and you don't know why not, but are secretly glad they are all to yourself anyway. Well, I'm sharing a few of mine and Oli's hidden gems. We were super duper happy that our friend Ruth dropped into the Palais after her insane 4 day trek from Oz back to the UK and I knew exactly where we should take her for lunch.

Fish and Chips! Not just any old fish and chips though, because we dropped into Kerbisher & Malt on the Shepherds Bush Rd in Brook Green. The company isn't really a hidden gem as such, but this outpost of it is. We ate delicious Fish Finger Butties with the most deliciously crispy, proper chips and dreamy mushy peas.

It was an absolute bargain at less than a tenner for the three of us and I can't wait to go back!

Have you been to any of the Kerbisher & Malt branches? Do you find mushy peas as weirdly delicious as I do?
